Bancor is thrilled to announce that the Arb Fast Lane is live on Mantle Network, bringing its first-of-its-kind arbitrage trading bot to the world’s first DAO-spawned Layer 2!

The Arb Fast Lane is an open-source and permissionless trading bot which, in comparison to DIY methods, requires far less technical knowledge, enabling the Mantle community to participate in automated arbitrage opportunities. Making arbitrage significantly more accessible to the greater community not only strengthens ecosystem involvement, but also enhances market efficiency for everyone involved. In addition, operators of the Arb Fast Lane are rewarded with nearly 50% of the arbitrage profits, with the remaining solidifying the sustainability and growth of the Bancor ecosystem.

Seamlessly Integrated

The Arb Fast Lane identifies and performs sophisticated arbitrage trades using markets created with licensed Carbon DeFi deployments and their surrounding ecosystem. With the initial release on Mantle Network, the Arb Fast Lane is already able to route trades through a number of top DEXes, including:

  • Graphene

  • Velocimeter

  • FusionX V2 & V3

  • Agni

  • Butter

  • Cleopatra V2 & V3

  • Merchant Moe

  • Stratum

Why Mantle?

The Mantle Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, setting itself apart with its modular architecture, separating transaction execution, data availability, and transaction finality into modules. These can be individually upgraded to adopt the latest innovations, simplifying the incorporation of future Ethereum upgrades. Expanding to the Mantle Network represents a strategic move to reinforce Bancor’s vision, to support upcoming licensed Carbon DeFi contract deployments and to establish itself within thriving ecosystems poised for increased adoption and liquidity.

Pre-Deployment Boost

The Arb Fast Lane received yet another round of significant enhancementsjust prior to its fourth deployment, ensuring it supports efficient order execution on upcoming licensed Carbon DeFi deployments and that it continues to expand upon its already impressive capabilities.

Carbon DeFi Trade Splitter

This enhancement enables the bot to consolidate liquidity from “same token” pairs (e.g., MNT/token and wMNT/token) for Carbon DeFi strategies into a unified liquidity source. This consolidation offers the advantage of expanding the Arb Fast Lane’s potential opportunities by increasing the accessibility of liquidity.

Multi-Deployment Support

Why limit yourself to just one Carbon DeFi deployment (-foreshadowing-) on a particular chain when you can have multiple? The arbitrage bot now boasts the capability to accommodate any number of Carbon DeFi deployments on a single blockchain! This substantial enhancement empowers the bot to simultaneously explore arbitrage opportunities across all Carbon DeFi strategies for every deployment on a blockchain.

Trade Splitter Support: Multiple Carbon DeFi Deployments

By combining trade splitter support with multi-deployment support, the Arb Fast Lane now boasts access to an even broader pool of liquidity. With the ability to aggregate same-token pairs from multiple Carbon DeFi deployments, the available liquidity for arbitrage continues to expand, bidding farewell to fragmented liquidity sources!

Upgraded Wrap/Unwrap Algorithm

The Arb Fast Lane bot already had the ability to add wrap & unwrap trades within arbitrage routes, however, the algorithm that powered this received a substantial upgrade. The new Carbon DeFi Trade Splitter algorithm required something that could handle much greater complexity, and thus the wrap/unwrap algorithm was upgraded to be significantly more robust. This new version is able to handle arbitrage routes that have much more complexity, further-optimizing its decisions.

Self Funding

Self-funding empowers operators of the Arb Fast Lane to access trade liquidity directly from their wallet, facilitating cost-effective arbitrage transactions and enhancing competitiveness. Though this upgrade was previously completed, it is particularly beneficial on Mantle Network where flashloan liquidity resources are scarce.

Shaping the Future of DeFi

While Bancor celebrates the successful launch of the Arb Fast Lane on Mantle Network, it also joins another promising Layer 2 ecosystem, empowering their community with the ability to participate in trading like they never have before, using a suite of innovative tools and superior capabilities developed with them in mind.

The integration of the Arb Fast Lane with top DEXes on Ethereum, Base, Fantom, and now Mantle, enhanced by the consistent upgrades and improvements, is just the beginning of a relentless pursuit to bring efficiency, liquidity, and accessibility to the forefront of blockchain technology.Stay tuned for more updates, and join the community as Bancor continues to break barriers and remain at the forefront of DeFi innovation. Together, we’re not just participants in DeFi — we’re pioneers shaping its future.

The Arb Fast Lane and Carbon DeFi are products of Bancor and governed by the Bancor DAO.
